My name is Catherine Agnew and I LOVE to teach! This will be my sixth year teaching here at the Oakview Elementary School. I previously taught preschool special education in Athens, Georgia for two years. I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education. In May 2012 I received a master’s degree in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum, with a concentration in Classic Autism, from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. I love sports, especially Georgia football and Braves baseball, animals, cooking, and baking. This summer my husband, Preston, and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We have three dogs, a Yorkie named Bailey, a terrier mix named Georgia, and a Dalmatian named Dotty. The dogs definitely keep us busy!! We love cooking together, taking the dogs for walks, and just spending time together! I believe that all children can learn and I work my hardest to make sure they reach their highest potential.
